Viking view installatiom

Hey Jack, Here are those photos. I found the diagram on the Grand Rapids Technologies website. Jan, there is one wire that I haven't figured out yet where it goes. It's the orange wire on the viking view wiring harness. On the diagram it says AUX 2. On another note, I received two pressure sender's. The 0-150 psi is the one I used for the oil presure. Not sure where the 0-80 psi goes yet, I am assuming it is for the fuel pressure? The gearbox temperature sensor came with two terminals. I ended up cutting them off and soldering the wires directly together so that all the wires could tucked away neatly. I hope this helps.

"I think he just wants a lower the idle speed to test run the engine while waiting to install a propeller.  "

"I have a viking HD gearbox which I like very much on a 1.8L honda engine running on a test stand that is about to migrate over to my RV6a. I have an extensive thread on VAF in the Alternative Engines section. Charlie"

"I ended up filing a notch in the throttle body casting where the throttle arm was hitting it. Worked like a charm. RPM was around 700 when I started it, adjusted the idle screw and put it at 1200 and it now stays pretty close to that after warming u…"

"Thanks for the compliment.  Filing or cutting should work fine, but have you also looked at relocating the throttle lever?  Hope you're able to improve on some of our ideas, and pass it on.  "

"When I pull the throttle all the way back to idle the throttle linkage is already hitting the cast part of the throttle body that has been cut to make room for the linkage. I think I need to file or cut it back more so the cable can pull the linkage…"

"Without a propeller installed, we lowered our idle speed to between 850 and 1000 rpm by backing the idle screw all the way back.  Our engine also speeds up as the temperature rises, but seemed to recall it remaining below 1200 with the idle screw ba…"

"I have started my 130 twice now. Last September just to get the oil flowing and lube evrything and tonight to get the air out of the coolant system and check for leaks. Both times, with the throttle at idle. It would start out at about 1700 rpm and…"
