We have introduced a map to enable builders and flyers to see where other Viking customers are in relation to eachother. It is a work in progress and we are still continuing to add names daily. If you see an area you would like to contact a customer and reach out to contact Alissa@VikingAircraftEngines.com for more information.

Way too enclosed. For optimal cooling we recommend to remove all of it.
As I fly off a desert strip I need to keep the rocks and debris for punchering the radiator core. I'll be doing startup testing and monitor the coolant temperature. Would like to see coolant temperature in the 190°f range.
Looks good Ronald. You might consider closing off the back of the enclosure so all air is forced through the louvers. In theory, the louvers will cause a low pressure area to pull hot air away from the radiator.
Yes, the plan is to cover the back exit with duck tape during startup test. Also may make a exit louver, like a engine exit cowl during testing. Like to see coolant temperature in the 190°f range.
We have done similar to our radiator enclosure, and will confirm next summer how effective it is.
By way, while our louvers are different than yours, we flew with and without the louvers, and there was no notable temperature differance.
Replaceed Earthx batteries with Odyssey PC545 in the aft fuselage of my CH 701 float plane. See electrical schematic photo.
Please adhere to the most recent service bulletin. Thank you.
Jan,
I see the 180 is now listed at 170, is there new info on the engine?

RV 12 Ready to fly, The smiles are genuine. Aircraft passed with no deficiencies. One of the great services you provide is listening with interest to our relentless bragging about our aircraft. Thanks for being great listeners. Plane is ready to fly once it goes back together. All features are in the green, including weight and balance, static RPM's, engine monitoring, etc. Control surfaces are free and functioning. The first flight in the next few weeks. I'll keep you posted. My sincere gratitude for all the support you've given. I feel you are a power plant home ,not just and engine vendor. Keep you posted, Jim
